Woke up on Monday and my Pixel 6 Pro wasnt quite fitting in the case while i was checking news while having coffee on the morning. Pushed it in and it didnt seem to fit right. Took the case off to find it had turned itself into a spicy pillow and was splitting along the side. Was 1 month inside warranty, messaged support who told me it was wear and tear initially. I made it quite clear i wasnt accepting that and there wasnt even any way that internal adhesive failing would be wear and tear, never mind battery expansion. They agreed to replace it with a refurb as a goodwill gesture, how very nice of them. I upgraded the same day to a S23 Ultra and have sold the refurb to a reseller.

It’s very flawed. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not advocating for Google. Fuck em. But yeah considering I had OnePlus previously. It rebooted in sunlight. My pixel doesn’t.

Just to counter your anecdote, I had 3 different oneplus phones over about 7 years with zero issues. In fact, best phones I’ve ever owned - especially op8pro. I’d still be a OP user if they didn’t get rid of most useful feature for me - wireless charging. Now I’m suffering with pixel’s stupidly slow wireless charging after enjoying 30w charging on OP. Anyway, fuck Google.

        Fuck Google and OnePlus.

I had the original. Now that. That was an innovative phone. I had one 5 8 and 9. They seem to get worse as time went on. Company got bloated and started looking to make money. Shame. Why us as humanity can’t have nice things. Move things don’t bring shareholders globs of unlimited money

Agreed. I paid way to much for 8 pro, but I really wanted the features and I was hooked by earlier phones. Fuck OP and fuck Google.

Agreed. I wanted the 8 but it just wasn’t up to standards. I had 8 for a bit but flipped it to get the pixel.

I actually recently got a 6 pro and installed graphene os on it and have been loving it. Wondering if the degoogled android is more stable

Oh I would think so. I used to use lineage on OnePlus. I just don’t have the time to fiddle with software and with banking apps being blocked. It’s a no go
