Check to see if your grocery store sells wheat grass in the organics section! It’s a much better deal too, costs less and there is more grass that is always healthy and fresh. Sorry still bad for the environment I don’t have a solution there, but the plastic is less substantial than the pet store ones at least.
Or I guess you could buy a ton of dollar store mini planters to grow in and start rotating them for kitty and leave them outside otherwise. That’s a lot to feed the grass habit lol
Wheatgrass doesn’t seem to be a thing here yet, only powder form that I can find.
I did find a pet store that buys whole oat seed in bulk and sells by the kilo, next time I’m gonna bring a container to fill, but for now I have a bag with enough seed for another month or two ;)
Oh bummer! Might have luck at the more crunchy granola/health food grocery or farmers market. (More to others reading. You sound like you have a solution to manage lol)
