Addis’ design is (loosely) inspired by Mel Medarda. She’s a force to be reckoned with.

We-ell… we’ve got about 100k stashed between the party from adventures… the pay of a priestess isn’t going to be much in comparison.

We’ve been on a lot of adventures with large payouts, and Konsi’s not had much time to smith stuff - and some of the stuff she’s made has sold for insane amounts of cash.

What level is she? If she’s not already, you might consider the 5th edition version of the old Dwemersmith prestige class. Sounds like she’s got all the prerequisites, and spending way less time, money, and XP on magic items is useful for making ridiculously overpowered magic items :)

Ah so… the “5th edition version” of prestige classes is “we removed the concept of prestige classes”

Artificer does have some features that reduce the cost and time to make magic items… but in Konsi’s case, there’s four problems with taking the artificer class as a multiclass.

        1. Multiclass rules are… pretty bad in 5e, and honestly the game is better if you just don’t use them (this is my subjective opinion)
        2. Artificer is a really bad class for Konsi - it gives a lot of features and proficiencies she already has, and some low level spells she doesn’t need. (Also it’s int-based, and her int is 9, also she doesn’t even qualify to take the class.)
        3. She wants to focus on being a cleric (Smithing is mostly a side-gig because she has the hammer.)
        4. The artifact hammer is giving insane discounts to the cost and time of making magic items already, other bonuses probably wouldn’t stack. It takes her 6 days and 500gp to make a pair of sending stones.

In the comic here, she’s level 9.
