    Hey there

The first PlayStation console I’ve ever played on was the PS1 but it was my cousin’s, I remember playing Need For Speed on it and another game where you could deliver newspaper using a bicycle ? Haha it was so long ago that I barely remember anything else about it.

My favorite game, well that is definitely a tough question, I don’t think I have a specific one per se, because I can’t choose between some games that I really loved like RDR 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Control and one of my favorite franchises from my childhood, if not just my favorite, would be Jak & Daxter, damn Sony for leaving it behind.

Whenever I see people talking about underrated games, I can’t help but think about Mad Max from the PS4 generation, the story is nothing to write home about, the gameplay is not unique or in any way innovative, but the atmosphere ? My God, I’ve never seen a game capture the atmosphere of a universe like Mad Max did, it captures that sense of desolation and isolation so good, all that mixed with the explosions and a vehicle combat that is very well made, I say that everyone should at least try the game.

A particular memory I’m very fond of is that when I was a kid, my father bought us a PS2, and you have to understand that at the time we didn’t have that much money, but by a miracle, a cousin was selling his hardware for very cheap to get rid of it, and that’s how we were able to get a PS2, at the time the PS3 was already out in the wild lol

But the particular memory I love about that is that I didn’t have a memory card back in the day, again because tight money, so little me would wake up every day and replay the same sections of a game with the biggest smile on his face, time’s were much simpler then, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

I was lucky to get gifted Tears of The Kingdom at release, so I’ve been playing that for the past month and I’m not done with it yet heh.

I hear the bit about not having a memory card pretty often. That must have been such a specific and odd experience, and also specific to those two console generations.

At the time it wasn’t that bad, at least for me, I was just happy I got to play the games I had heh.
