Ok, I’ll be nice. From left to right at the top, then left to right at the bottom.

Top: Redd Foxx as Fred Sanford in Sanford and Son, Caroll O’Connor as Archie Bunker in All in the Family, Wilford Brimley as whatever the hell his character’s name was in Cocoon, Norman Fell as Mr. Roper in Three’s Company

Bottom: Don’t know her name as Flo from Alice, Ann B. Davis as Alice from the Brady Bunch, Jean Stapleton as Edith Bunker in All in the Family, Rue McLanahan as Blanche in the Golden Girls.

Now go watch some reruns for heaven’s sake!

I think all of the Golden Girls were in their 50s at the time. Watching that growing up, I thought they were all supposed to be in their 70s.

I’m 40 and I know their face, not their names. I put these people more in my parent’s generation.

Most of these are not exactly spectacular shows - they are just all that was available.

I mean the punch line to half the jokes were ‘Bang Zoom. I’m gonna beat the shit out of my wife’

Are you joking or have you clearly never watched these shows? With the exception of the Brady Bunch and Three’s Company they are amazing shows

Yeah, in Sanford and Son, half the jokes are “I miss my dead wife!” Far more wholesome!

But honestly, those shows weren’t made to be binged all in a row, they tended to have similar, familiar jokes from week to week. Even the best shows can be a little tiresome unless they’re spread out over a longer period of time.

I’m 30 and I’ve never seen these people. To be fair I’m not American
