Formatting help?

Hey all, I came across a post the other day regarding the differences between Lemmy and Kbin markdown. I learned there that you can actually create nice little tables for organizing data. Unfortunately I didn’t bookmark the post (edit: found the post!) and now I can’t remember how to create a table. So I have two questions for you guys:

Can anyone demonstrate creating a table in lemmy markdown? EDIT: found the post
Is there an official or in-depth lemmy formatting guide/ documentation anywhere? EDIT: Provided by @[email protected], thank you! Here is the official formatting guide.

EDIT 2: As noted by @[email protected], there is no mention of tables in the current CommonMark Spec, which begs the question: What else is missing from the official documentation?

Appears to be part of the extensions but I didn’t see a definitive list.
