I usually scroll one-handed with my right hand, so having the upvote/downvote buttons available on the right side rather than the left would be ideal.
Otherwise a swipe to upvote/downvote would work too!

If I recall correctly, Boost for Reddit had this feature, so it’s only a matter of time for “new Boost”.
