Is the situation really that bad in the US for non Tesla chargers?
For me in the UK and France, the situation has greatly improved over the past two years. I almost don’t have to prepare for shorter journeys (4-5 hours) and just slightly for longer ones where I just need to find a charger next to a place to eat.
It’s very hit or miss in the US. Some states have been better than others. The US is obviously a huge country so the abundance and quality of charging infrastructure is inconsistent (with Tesla being the one exception).
Yeah I sure hope they move forward. Honestly I don’t even mind a lower rate (temporarily at least) if it means way more options for reliable charging.
