Murder, She Wrote premiered—and the world was introduced to Jessica Fletcher—39 years ago today, on September 30, 1984, with the season 1 episode 1 opener, “The Murder of Sherlock Holmes.” It would be followed by 263 more episodes, four movies, video games, and a series of novels based on the show and its characters that is still in publication today. They are apparently some recently released hidden object type games! They are on myabandonware, so I might try one
