I suspect some companys will absolutely use this as Marketing stunt " Look how customer friendly we are" cant wait for the Iphone advertisements that make it look like they invented it for the first time ( they advertised in germany still like 3 months ago that you can delete sent messages )
So likely some companys will Release way earlier phones with Removeable batterys is my guess
Good point, though the current version of that phone is quite expensive and the older versions were not very good. I’m not a power user, I just want a basic cheap phone with a headphone jack and replaceable battery, that I can keep using for a while. A phone powered by 18650’s would be great. I do know about the Xcover and have stayed somewhat aware of it for when my current phone finally craps out.
@solrize yeah its a real pain in the ass finding ordinary useable phones that don’t miss out on what used to be standard features😢
