minus-square@dan1101link1•1 year agoHow do you subscribe to a kbin.social community? None of the links seem to keep me in Lemmy.
minus-squareAndilink5•edit-21 year agoYou can take the community and server name and format it like this: https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected] But kbin is more than just posts - it also federates Mastadon which I don’t think Lemmy can process (so you won’t see those). (I’m still working all this out myself – in fact, this is my first ever comment!)
minus-squareGranite T. Rocklinkfedilink4•1 year agoIf you can see this, you’re federating with Mastodon as I’m replying with my Mastodon account!
minus-squareAndilink3•1 year agoComments are ok, but I think if kbin has microblog posts from Mastodon, they don’t appear in Lemmy. I’m in two minds as to which interface I prefer - nows really the time to pick one before I subscribe to too many things! :)
minus-square@ImotaliMlink2•1 year agoYe, I had the same issue and decided to go with Lemmy cause I’m not a fan of kbin or mastodon’s ui. Lemmy feels more like old reddit.

Yeah, ditto, I’m a happy Lemmy user now. Vive la révolution!
That was a helpful first post, thank you!
