Israeli soldiers fought to repel Hamas militants Sunday and Israel and the Lebanese militant Hezbollah exchanged fire, raising the prospect of a broader regional conflagration a day after the unprecedented surprise attack on southern Israel by Palestinian militants that killed at least 250 and left
I think people are pointing out the hypocrisy in the world’s response.
Israel has killed 200 Palestinians civilians this year before their recent attack.
But that’s just business as usual.
I don’t think people want to see civilians die, but they also feel a sense of justice when Israel has to (barely) suffer the same things they’ve been doing to Arabs for decades.
It’s also sad to see how Israel is already killing more civilians but nobody really cares about those.
Israel kills civilians > Palestinians kill civilians > Israel responds by killing more civilians.
“We only care about the civilians palestinians are killing.”
To me, it’s just another fine example of white lives being worth more than brown ones. You see the Israelis hiding in dumpsters and know they’re all thinking “this isn’t normal,” when it’s completely normal for the Palestinians.
no the issue is the IDF while no angels, are not going in to Gaza specifically to kill civilians. We are talking ‘collateral damage’, a horrible term, but something not necessarily avoidable when your enemy hides themselves among civilians.
Hamas went into israel TO KILL CIVILIANS. They directly targeted them.
That is where the difference is
