Just created an account on kbin, with this same user name, because I thought kbin was a different thing, and it looks a little friendlier, but now I’m seeing that I comment on here from there so now apparently there’s two bradses brace and I don’t know what’s going on.
You can think of it as having an email [email protected] and another email [email protected]. You can email the same friends from either, and receive the same newsletters to both, but ultimately they are 2 separate email accounts.
You have the same username on two different instances.
My username looks like “@[email protected]” to you.
If I created TendieMaster69 on @lemmy.world then it would look like “@[email protected]”
You can just think of that other account of yours as a backup. Think of it this way: your account lives in a server (kbin.social, lemmy.world, lemmy.ml etc). When you make another account on another server (i.e., you make an account on lemmy.world), that account lives there in that separate server. So you can have two Brad_Braces (even ten if you feel like it) but of different servers. There’s no conflict anyway
