I think that’s going to be one downside to federation. When Sync for Lemmy was announced the other day, my homepage was the same “Sync for Lemmy is happening!!!” post from different instances
The plus side is that it’s open source, so we could look into having some way to collapse crossposts in view so that you eg. see a single link with a “see other conversations about this” button.
Not sure if it’s a great habit to post to several communities at the same time, I feel like people would probably follow similar communities anyway ?
