In xfce (thunar) i see window where i enter the root password and can use the ssd In Hyprland i see this error
minus-square𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘬linkfedilink12•1 year agoYou might want to look at installing and setting up an authentication agent. https://wiki.hyprland.org/Useful-Utilities/Must-have/#authentication-agent What I did instead (unrelated to Wayland) is installing udiskie and let udisks2 handle all the mounting. I just plug in the device and it gets automatically mounted in user context without me having to provide any passwords or whatsoever.
