It’s not really a bug. All instances don’t contain everything from all other instances, so when someone links to something that is there on their instance, it works, but when someone sees that same post or comment on another instance that doesn’t have that thing yet, the link doesn’t work.

Tbf, I’ve been getting that regularly on stuff I should definitely be able to see, so it’s not entirely just weird instance things.
