Reading over the moderation guidelines, there is no specific mention of user names and how to handle one if it is made in a knowingly inflammatory way.
I have a user in a community that has a handle that is not racist, explicitly bigoted, etc, but is clearly chosen to troll/flame other users. My current stance is to leave it alone and see if they engage in improper behavior that requires action. But the user name itself is designed to prompt other users into action against this handle. So the user could engage in no problematic behavior, but be fully responsible for trouble through name choice alone.
What are thoughts or guidelines anyone may have?

Thanks. Yeah, my gut was to just go ahead and ban them, but I don’t want to set a precedent for impropriety. I’ll see if any admins chime in before taking action.
But using the logic of their username as a comment is pretty decent. Not completely sound for all cases, but for this one, yeah.
