Reading over the moderation guidelines, there is no specific mention of user names and how to handle one if it is made in a knowingly inflammatory way.
I have a user in a community that has a handle that is not racist, explicitly bigoted, etc, but is clearly chosen to troll/flame other users. My current stance is to leave it alone and see if they engage in improper behavior that requires action. But the user name itself is designed to prompt other users into action against this handle. So the user could engage in no problematic behavior, but be fully responsible for trouble through name choice alone.
What are thoughts or guidelines anyone may have?

    This was going to be my first post here as well. I’d love some site wide guidance on what to do here. My issue is roughly the same. Username designed to incite others, but the content of their posts is innocuous. I’ve been leaving the posts for now.

        that’s a lot more cut and dry when the name is a slur. Gets a little grey when its not.
