minus-square@doublejay1999link3•1 year ago“These days people won’t work 70 hours per week for little money” Is that correct ?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink9•1 year agoMore like “Nowadays, nobody would want to work for 70h a week without getting paid.”
minus-squareSnoopylinkfedilink2•edit-21 year agoI’m not surekhow to convey the message, the difference is subtle. Correct me if i’m wrong. In fact, the title tells us there is 2 main reasons why people refuse to work in bakery : working 70h per week : overwork a low wage So it’s not : “for little money”, even if it’s well paid (which won’t happen) they will refuse and prioritise their life, familly, friends… You omitted “et/and” so it change a lot the sentence’s meaning. I would translate it to : “70h per week and little wage”
