I am doing research on best practices for my lithium batteries and lifepo4 powerstation. There’s some conflicting opinions and variation for cycle numbers.

Will leaving my things plugged in at 100% hurt it more than constantly unplugging at 80% and replugging at 20%?

    No. You get increased charge cycles by doing 60/90. 100% doesn’t favor the battery, but it does give you longer run time. It really depends on the device too. If it’s something like a phone that begins immediately discharging, it’s no worry. If it’s something like an ebike that you’re not going to ride for several days, don’t store it on 100% charge, the anodes will degrade.
