minus-square@errerlinkEnglish11•1 year agoLots of LEDs require at least 3V, and batteries are just over a volt so you have to put them in series. They must be using some special LEDs and/or circuitry that steps up the voltage.

Sure, so why are no flashlights made this way?
Lots of LEDs require at least 3V, and batteries are just over a volt so you have to put them in series. They must be using some special LEDs and/or circuitry that steps up the voltage.
