minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink5•1 year agoAmazing how I am able to understand this by only knowing Swedish and English. “Tasty in your hand”?
minus-square@Distoortedlink5•1 year agoI think it can be translated as: “So how did your weekend go?” “Just nicely out of hand”. But I still didn’t get the joke haha
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•1 year ago“Lekker” is a weird word for us; it also works as “nicely” in a way. Afterwards it says “out of the hand”, which is an idiom meaning “lost control/went off the rails” So it basically says " How was your weekend? Nicely lost control(/went off the rails)"

It’s funny knowing German as well. ‘Lekker’
Comparing to German, in Dutch everything can be lekker!
