    Failing to act is much the way WWI and WWII began

    Actually, it’s kind of the opposite, at least for WWII, the reparations Germany had to pay, and all the restrictions and other crap the rest of the world made them do after WWI is a direct cause of WWII.

      To be sure. But it was the inaction allowing Germany to arm then invade country after country before they decided to get involved.

      It is silly to think leaving a vacuums will not be filled and nearly every other option is worse. The US is not a perfect democracy but I certainly prefer them over Russia or China.
