Google is rolling out its Wear OS 4 update to the original Pixel Watch. The update will bring features like Safety Check, the new Google Calendar app, improved accessibility, and more to the first-gen watch.
Got mine right after it released and I get the notification. As far as I remember I’ve always gotten it. But it doesn’t appear on your phone, just on the watch.
I’ve never seen it there either. When I had the Sense, it reminded me on the phone and perhaps I’m used to that. I keep the watch face off unless I push the button to try to conserve battery.
Its cool that at least some of your get a reminder, but overall I’m very disappointed. For me, articles like this show that it’s a design issue.
I’m not some Google hater either, I love my Pixel and have been loyal since the 3. This was just a huge let down.
