    The idea of Jordan being speaker was one of the stupidest and most offensive ideas they’ve come up with recently, so it’s nice that it isn’t working out.

        Their lawyers quietly let them know there’s a rule prohibiting a candidate for speaker from winning if they’re under federal indictment facing more than a year of jail time. “Better shut the fuck up about that before you get the reason this can’t happen thrown in your face.”
