It’s festered beneath the surface for decades, and Trump was the first to seize upon the true believers and become their defacto demigod. He even has actual pastors revering him not just for his rhetoric but as an actual messiah figure.

Conservative Christians: Instructions unclear, passes stand your ground law and turns their cheek onto iron sights and starts blastin.
