All that does is lead to incorrect conclusions that are then taken into consideration when they decide what to do next, which will then affect us again. To yours the response can only ever be nothing. Because they don’t know it’s happening. It won’t even enter their mind, maybe even if everyone did it. If everyone just said no in the other comment box they’d at least have a “oh shit everyone really hates this” moment before they went back to ignoring it.
No you’re assuming they can’t use it. Why do you think they would give a shit? They can still use it because, again, only a tiny tiny portion of users are doing it so it doesn’t poison their data. Even if it did, it’d just mean that the actions they take that are informed by said data would make things worse for users. Pointless.
