That’s because TV commercials were usually well made, or for stuff you might need. For the stuff you didnt need, it was entertaining. (You remember the IBM TV ads in the 90s?)
YouTube ads are for overpriced junk and dropshipping (raycon earbuds) when it’s not get rich quick scams.
And the sensibilities of those advertisers dictate what creators are allowed to create without getting demonitized. I miss old YouTube. It felt so much more organic.
