My point is that the current crop of light trucks are verging closer to the top of that category than they historically had been even within that category apart from its increasing presence in the mix of consumer cars.
I think it’s beyond time to get rid of the “light truck” classification for suvs.

An f350 can get that heavy, but 99% of the pickup trucks you see aren’t even half that weight.
