    Talisker 10 is pretty solid if you like a good smoky, briny single malt whisky. It’s like drinking a campfire by the sea. It has great character.

    Aberlour 10 is a great Speyside whisky with sweet caramel and fruity notes. It’s my go-to for an easy drinking whisky.

    They’re both very accessible in terms of budget.

      Thank you this is exactly what I was looking for! 😍 🤩 Is there any explanation why if I drink some Glenmorangie18 the adverse affects are basically non-existent compared to cheaper stuff?

        Longer they age in the barrel the more the sulfates and other undesirables pass out of the whiskey. That might be something to do with it.

          Wow thanks for the insight, I had no idea about this. I thought it was solely the wood of the barrel giving off flavors over time. It’s kind of surprising to me that these substances will vanish over time.

        Maybe you don’t mind drinking more of a cheap whisky then you would a more expensive one, which you’d probably use more sparingly?
