The post title and article title are not the same, but geez that article was all over the place. In the case of this shooting, the officer fell victim to the normal accidental shooting situation: most accidental shootings are done with an “empty” gun.
Obviously, this officer is less of a victim than the person they stupidly shot dead.
In case no one’s told ya: never point a gun at anything you don’t intend to destroy.
