The fact that he’s even undergoing all of these lawsuits is great, nobody even thought he would be in court once, and now he’s facing multiple civil lawsuits and at least two criminal trials.

He’s just unaccustomed to consequences. If he thought about it, disparaging the people may be worth the 10k it cost him - as long as he stays out of jail.
Who knows, maybe even going to jail is something he can leverage to squeeze another round of violence out of his followers.
