      This is an important point, the death of 3rd party apps should in theory make at least a dent in user numbers on reddit.

        I went there today to do Lemmy propaganda. All the post are shit, no decent content on the first page. Whoever stayed is just making Instagram 2.0 but shitty-er

        Instead of simply deleting your account you could also use scripts like the power delete suite to mass-edit all your posts and comments into Lemmy recommendations before nuking the account for good.
