minus-square@WaxedWookielink6•1 year agoYeah - there’s certainly a spectrum, but I maintain the statement “Islamist extremist are fashist too” is an incorrect whatabboutism, particularly when directly comparing with the Israeli government.
They’re terrible, but tend not to align particularly well with my personal definition of choice - Umberto Eco’s 14 signs of ur fascism.
Some of then like Da’esh align quite well actually.
