Think of it like this: If the article is 4 paragraphs, and you quote 3 of them, that’s not really fair use. If the article is 30 paragraphs and you quote 3 of them to make the point, that’s fine. :) Keep it less than, say, 30% of the original article and you should generally be safe. More than 50%? Not so much. Pulling those numbers out of a hat, it’s not a defined rule. ;)
