Rep. George Santos has easily survived a vote to expel him from the House as most Republicans opted to withhold punishment as both his criminal trial and a House Ethics Committee investigation proceed.

Of course, she might have been the wrong spokesperson for “we can’t punish a person until they’ve been found guilty in a court of law” given that she filed articles of impeachment against President Biden on his first day in office for crimes she claimed that he committed as President. You know, within the first hour or two (and ignoring that she obviously wrote these out long before he took the oath of office).
