Ukraine’s National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) added Nestle to its list of “international sponsors of war,” for its continued business in Russia, the agency’s press service announced on Nov. 2.

    Look into craft chocolate. Some of the stuff taste like the chocolate you imagine in your dreams. Milk chocolate can be creamier than you think is possible. The dark chocolates can be incredibly complex. The ingredient list is also much shorter.

    It costs more, but it’s not unreasonable. They tend to pay the local chocolate produce a much better wage, they often exceed ‘fair trade’ prices for their raw Coco.

      John Oliver actually mentioned Tony’s Chocolate by name specifically because they are honest about trying to be slavery free, and they pay their farmers double what the big 5 pay, but even they admit that they cannot guarantee 100% slavery free chocolate.

        I wouldn’t consider Tony chocolate to be equivalent to craft chocolate. Craft chocolate often has very good traceability. They will be buying there beans from specific farms and processors.

        Tony chocolate tries to make mass market low cost high profit product. They absolutely could avoid slavery, they choose not to.
