        The votes clearly show that one party in general supported the measure, and one party in general did not. You want 0 votes, and that’s basically never gonna happen in politics.

          No, the votes do not show that. The votes show that members of one party voted for the measure in more numbers than the other. The votes also show that both parties voted for it.

          A party agreeing on a matter cannot happen? Maybe you can’t see that happen if you have little knowledge of how ideologies actually work, but this to me only showcases how similar the parties actually are. If their fundamental axioms were different from Republicans, there would be no chance of them agreeing on a single thing. The simple fact is, they’re not actually that different.
