Yeah no doubt. Not saying there’s no reason to be on the apps in college. I’m just saying there’s less and less opportunity for meeting people in person by chance at social events the older you get, and the more your social life includes people from work, married folks, parents, etc.
College is the densest pool of single people with lots of free time you’ll ever experience bar none.
Then you look for the other person at the party standing there back to the wall looking like a deer in headlights and make friends or at least form a D&D group.
Ive told my daughter “Always be nice to the quiet ones and the weird ones. Be nice and be friendly, the extroverts of the world will be fine on their own.”
I mean, if I played PC games (more specifically multiplayer), I could definitely see myself attending LAN party. That’s the only party that actually sounds interesting.
Unless you’re socially awkward and bad at picking up hints.

I guess that being laughed at and ridiculed at parties must be very enjoyable in your corner of the world, then.

The only college parties I’ve been to were those with just my friends and ive learned my lesson about dating friends…
