This phone has everything that I am looking for in a <6" form factor. Its release date is June 29. Really looking forward to it!

    Honestly it looks pretty amazing.

The loss of microSD expansion is massively disappointing, but if they release a version with 1TB of storage I could probably go this direction. It has everything else that I want.

I have literally been calculating if the 512GB version would work for me :) Not sure if they will be releasing a 1TB version, but if so, that would be a definite purchase for me.

Kind of messed up that they’ve ditched the MicroSD to be honest. I find it fairly disappointing that ASUS have gone down that road too. At least they’ve retained the 3.5mm jack.

Yeah I figure if you’re going to keep the headphone jack you might as well go all in and keep the SD card. You will win a lot of goodwill from a certain crowd right there. Half of me almost wants to buy the Nord n30 just because it includes both even though I don’t need a phone! I’m not going to cuz I still have a perfectly functional LG v60, G8X but when those phones are too old to continue to give music players/phones I really hope to be able to reward someone with my purchase that has both of those.

Obviously there’s Sony but I’m kind of priced out there

Honest question - why would you need such massive storage?

My perspective is that I have 64gb model. Prob 30-50% takes spotify offline sings and everything the rest for media (videos/photos). Everything is backed up and when I run out of space - I clean my local storage. I am wondering why would you need 512GB/1TB of storage?

Perhaps carrying a large collection of FLACs or PS2/Wii/Switch ROMs.
