If I am not buying fish then even by a miniscule amount the demand has decreased.
scale it up and you have your answer.

That’s great! Keep up the good fight. But unfortunately we need a more robust solution to actually solve the problem.
Until you come up with a more robust solution I would recommend removing your capital from the system that is destroying the world.

you are welcome to do that. some of it is illegal.
I’m happy to remove my capital and boycot the system.
Boycotts have traditionally been both ridiculed and effective.
