        Authoritarians do not leave office over something trivial like losing a vote. Or have you just not been paying attention to history at all?

        If Trump gets in again, Republicans won’t be losing power through vote again.

          Don’t be pedantic. I was clarifying what the previous poster meant by their comment since it was kind of nebulous.

          I’m fully aware of the dangers of authoritarianism historically, presently, and in the future.

            I would infer it as the “peasants revolt” using farm instruments instead of purposely design weapons if war to defend you and yours, and to overthrow tyrants.

      I’m not sure a pitchfork is going to do anything if he succeeds in the way you are implying. You’re gonna want a gun.
