It changes fairly often since I look at so many pictures all week to post here.
At the moment it is probably the Long Eared Owl. I think it’s beautiful in general, I love the plumicorns, and I’m a big fan of orange eyes.
Some of my long term favorites are the White Faced Scops Owl. It’s very pretty, but can make some very strange faces and look very different from photo to photo.
Also the Snowy Owl is a classic. The males turn all white as they mature, so I prefer the females as they keep their dense black streaks. This onebhas a great smile too!
Those are beautiful! 🥰
especially the snowy owl looks very unique.
the long plumicorned owl is beautiful,
my fav would be the white faced scop owl out of the these three
It’s hard to go wrong, there are so many great owls, and I don’t think I can think of one that is call ugly. Some are plain, and some a bit odd, but they all have a great overall design to be an attractive animal.
I was looking into doing a contest for owl of the year, and it was hard to get it narrowed down to 40 types of owls as the minimum I’d accept to cover all the basic looks they can have. There are around 250 living owl species to pick from, so there is much variety.
Which owl do you consider the most beautiful personally?
Now that is a hard question.
