minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink9•1 year agoAt least in some places: Mutilation of corpse is a wrong of willfully, recklessly, wantonly, unlawfully, or negligently dismembering or disfiguring by cutting, scratching, or mishandling the body of a dead person. It is an offense of dissecting or dismembering, without authority, the dead body of a person.
Then again… if someone kills you, is it still a crime? You were already dead after all.
