Sam Altman is back as CEO of OpenAI after inking a deal to return to the company following immense pressure from employees and investors on the board that ousted him less than a week ago.
If the board wanted to stop openAI from making money this sure shit put a dent in their future. And now they don’t even have to be on the board anymore.
I think they want to make sure that AI is developed in what they consider to be the best manner. Which I guess is admirable, they just went about it in a very strange manner and ultimately they’ve probably done more damage to their cause than anything else.
I don’t think Ilia (I’m not completely positive on the spelling) is entirely sane at this point. Some of the things he’s purported to have done would be cause for concern if the behavior was observed in a psychiatric patient.
