I am an artisan maple syrup maker. I design and build all of my own machinery out of upcycled junk, misused plumbing, Arduinos, and a few purpose built purchased parts.
This community is for anyone who makes maple syrup to talk about their equipment, tools, and methods from one spile and bucket to huge commercial producers. Even the non-maple-making maple curious are welcome.

I’m trying to make a few posts to your avr and arduino communities, but it seems like https://lemmy.world is on 0.17 while https://lemmy.ca is on 0.18.
It looks like you can contact us here, but I can’t write posts on https://lemmy.ca. At least, not until this glitch is fixed. Count me as an honorary subscriber though, I’ll join up when the server / federation issues fix themselves.
I know that Lemmy.world plans to upgrade to 0.18.1 when that gets released (but not .18.0, as it doesn’t have the features needed to make the admins here ready to upgrade). And .18 is a huge upgrade that changed a chunk of the API, so I’m willing to bet that its the source of this glitch.
