I’ve got the Samsung Odyssey G65B 32". Upgraded from a 165Hz IPS AOC AG271QG. So far so good. It’s definitely much faster response time and it’s so smooth as long as I can maintain the FPS high. Though mainly the colors and contrast stand out the most. I was worried about QC issues but did not notice anything out of whack yet. The only annoying thing which I’ll probably never use is the built in Tizen OS to make it work more like a TV. I think that’s just unnecessary. I did not even bother to connect it to network.

What a pleasant cozy setup. How’s the motion clarity? I also see it supports HDR. How does that look?

Thanks! The motion clarity is excellent, the improvement over my previous AOC AG271QG is quite significant.

Don’t have much experience with HDR but it’s not really anything to even consider on this monitor as it only has 8 local dimming zones which I immediately disabled as just moving mouse around made the dimming very noticeable and annoying.

Colour accuracy is excellent from factory and around 1.5 delta E using SDR and sRGB.

According to RTINGS review they were able to get delta E to 0.6 with further calibration.

Contrast much better than any IPS I’ve seen.

Viewing angles… Quite disappointing. Around 20° to 30° max before you see colour shift. Not an issue for me though but definitely worth of consideration before buying. I can see why they don’t sell a flat panel at this screen size as that would be an issue
