      I miss how cheerful computers used to always look with wallpapers like that. Some of the old suse wallpapers also have the same feel and they’re neat

        That aesthetic is called Frutiger Aero, and would certainly be a welcome return from the current sterile design we’re currently using.

          Fruitigo ero is more about the glossy UI design of the windows vista/7 era than those photographs.

            Frutiger Aero” is the blending of nature and technology (e.g. bright nature wallpaper on a computer monitor). “Aero” is the glossy UI design.

              Aero is the name of the windows UI design, but it’s also a major defining factor of the wider frutiger aero aesthetic that was prevalent in loads of other tech and marketing at the time. I recommend reading the link you sent because it just backs up what I said.
