I’ve heard it explained that “hey” used to be more of an urgent way to get someone’s attention, rather than a casual “hello” like it is now, so it sounded rude to some older folks.

      No twisting is needed. Refuting your bullshit is not some trick that I am playing. You are a bigot. You are doing that predictable thing that bigots do where they try to generalize and soften the language they use about being a bigot to distract from the actual truth that being a bigot is shitty and wrong. For you there is no point because you know that your stance is indefensible. Because you are a callous bigot.
