I joined Reddit during the digg exodus. Before digg I was into fark and before fark, something awful.
It’s good that things die. it’s where new mediums come from. It also keeps the power with the user. It’s an important part of the internet life cycle.

I don’t necessarily have anything to add, but I joined Reddit at the time of the Digg exodus. I was never a user of Digg, but the timing was coincidental. This is my first time really going through something like this, since I never hopped on the MySpace, Facebook, or Twitter type bandwagons.
Just wanted to say I really appreciate your take on this. It adds some good perspective.
